Spanish partner CEOMA hosted the 2nd consortium meeting of Flower project in Madrid on the 18th and 19th January 2024. Coordinator of the project is Gouden Dagen Foundation (Netherlands) and other partners are Anziani e non solo (Italy), Instituut voor Natuureducatie (Netherlands), Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia and Spominčiča – Alzheimer Slovenia. The aim is to improve the well-being, health and social inclusion of frail older people through nature and till now the consortium has already implemented some important activities such as gathering insights and analysing 24 best practices in nature-related activities in four countries. Besides that, twelve co-creation workshops were organized in the partner countries.
The FLOWER project envisions a future where engagement with nature positively impacts the lives of frail older individuals, promoting social inclusion, well-being, and health.
